RESCUE Demo Booth at EUCNC 2016

Monday, June 27, 2016

RESCUE project team set up an exhibition demo booth at the European Conference on Networks and Communications (EUCNC) 2016. This event took place between the 27th - 30th June, 2016.

The demo setup shows the gain achieved by cooperative communication over lossy radio channels, whereby we selected the toy scenario (TS1) for demonstration. The screencast shows on the left side a traditional system (Single FSR) struggles to establish communication with a non-zero Frame Success Rate by selecting the best out of 4 corrupted copies of a frame, while on the right a new system being investigated in the RESCUE project combines these copies and recovers around 50% of the information.
